Tutorial: Trinket Dish

Happy February!

I love February.  First because it's my birthday month (biased I know) but also because it's a month full of love.  Though I'm not big on Valentine's Day (oversized teddy bears and cliche red roses are not really apart of of my aesthetic), I still think it's nice to celebrate all the sweet people in your life.  This year, I decided to make trinket dishes for all my amazing girlfriends.  They're super simple and customizable, and sent with a love note, they'll make a really great gift.

  • Ceramic Dishes (I used these ones from Amazon)
  •  Rubber Figurines (Try these ones from Safari LTD)
  • Gold Spray Paint
  • Gold Paint Marker (Optional)
  •  E6000 Craft Glue

  1. Pick out your figurines and spray paint them, being sure to cover all sides.
  2. After they dry, use E6000 to glue them to the dish.
  3. Using the paint marker, draw a pattern on the dish if you wish.
  4. Add some sparkle, and viola!  Easy peasy and oh so lovely.

Show me how yours turn out!  Let me know if you have any questions!

stay gold,
